About the role
Deep Blue Digital is a Nairobi-based creative and digital marketing agency working with brands across aviation, real estate, retail, manufacturing and hospitality. We're looking for a Photographer & Videographer to own visual storytelling across our client portfolio — from concept through to final cut.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be on location one day and at the edit desk the next, and the work you produce goes straight out to national brands.
What you'll do
- Plan, shoot and edit photography and video across a diverse roster of clients
- Own projects end-to-end: concept, storyboard, lighting, shoot, edit, deliver
- Run on-location and studio shoots, including set design, lighting setups and directing subjects
- Work with our design and strategy team to translate campaign ideas into visuals
- Deliver on-brand content cut and sized correctly for social, web and paid advertising
- Keep an organised archive of raw and final assets, and maintain agency equipment
Requirements
- 3–5 years professional experience across both photography and videography
- Strong command of Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro (or Final Cut)
- Solid technical grounding in lighting, composition and set design
- A portfolio and a showreel that demonstrate range — not just one style or one client type
- Comfortable shooting in uncontrolled environments and on tight timelines
- Own camera body and lenses is an advantage
