Baristas (Multiple Openings in Nairobi)

On behalf of our partner network of premier cafes, fine dining restaurants, and hotel lounges, we are seeking skilled and passionate Baristas for immediate placement. In this role, you will represent hospitality brands, delivering exceptional coffee service and creating warm, memorable guest experiences. Whether operating in a fast-paced specialty coffee shop, a high-volume restaurant bar, or a boutique hotel lounge, you will ensure every cup meets the brand standards of our host venues. Calibrate grinders and espresso machines to meet accurate extraction profiles, dose ratios, and temperature standards. Texture milk to optimal micro-foam consistency and present consistent latte art. 2. Customer Experience & Front-of-House Greet customers warmly, offer informed recommendations on roast profiles or food pairings, and process orders through POS systems. Adapt quickly to the service style, pace, and brand standards of different partner venues. Maintain efficiency and composure during high-volume peak hours. 3. Bar Operations & Hygiene Maintain clean, organized, and hygienic workstations in line with health and safety standards. Conduct regular cleaning routines for espresso group heads, steam wands, grinders, and bar tools. Track bar inventory (coffee beans, milks, syrups, packaging) and report shortages or equipment faults to venue supervisors. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum [1+ years] as a Barista in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and machine maintenance. Adaptability: Ability to adjust smoothly to varying outlet environments and brand expectations. Customer Focus: Excellent communication, a welcoming personality, and strong attention to detail. Availability: Open to flexible shift patterns, including morning shifts, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
